PURPOSE:To obtain a photograph having the color reproducibility approximate to the color reproducibility of visual sensation without depending on the light quality of a photographing light source by specifying the spectral sensitivity distributions of the respective photosensitive layers of a photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The spectral sensitivity distributions S(lambda) of the respective photosensitive layers of the photosensitive material are so set as to satisfy the specific conditions. Namely, the wavelength to yield the wavelength of said S($lambda) in the blue-sensitive photosensitive layer BL is set at 406-480nm and the wavelength to yield 80% of the max. value of said S(lambda) is set at a 400-500nm wavelength range. The wavelength to yield the max. value of said S(lambda) in the green-sensitive photosensitive layer GL is set at 527-580nm and the wavelength to yield 80% of the max. value of said S(lambda) is set in at a 500-600nm wavelength range. Furthermore, the wavelength to yield the max. value of said S(lambda) in the red-sensitive photosensitive layer RL is set at 595-640nm and the wavelength to yield 80% of the max.
