<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of signals by connecting the input terminal of each shift register to input terminals for image signals in common and connecting locking terminals to signal input terminals through a circuit to supply locking signal when a front stage strobe signal is active. CONSTITUTION:Each shift register 12-15 inputs an image signal A from an image signal input terminal 2 simultaneously, and inputs a clock signal B from an input terminal 3 through inverters 16-22 and AND circuits 17-23, only when strobe signals J, G-I at the front stage (the first step is the n-th step) are active, and transfers an image signal. Consequently, a latching circuit which would otherwise be required as it was before can be omitted and no latch pulses occur. Further, the number of signals reduces, and simple control and low cost can be realized. When a resetting terminal is provided, the shift registers 12-15 can be reset by a reset signal, and unnecessary printing be eliminated.</p> |
