发明名称 SUPERCONDUCTIVE CERAMICS WIRE MATERIAL WITH EXCELLENT FLEXIBILITY
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a wire material with excellent flexibility and a critical current density being almost free from changing due to a process of bending by densely filling ceramics fibers having a superconductive characteristic under the condition that the longitudinal directions thereof are uniformly aligned in the longitudinal direction of a metallic tube. CONSTITUTION:Powder of respective raw materials such as Y2O3, BaCO3 and CuO are blended together at mole ratios of Y2O3:BaCO3:CuO=1/2:2:3, and a green compact is obtained by sufficiently mixing these materials and pressing them at a predetermined pressure in order to facilitate a solid phase reaction. The green compact is calcinated at a predetermined temperature during a predetermined time under the atmospheric pressure. Obtained green compact pulverized to form the powder of compound made of a composition of YBa2Cu3O7 and having a perovskite structure. A binder plasticizer, in the form of a polyvinyl-butyral phthalic acid ester or the like are added to the powder to obtain a semi-flowability body having proper viscosity which is extracted from a container made of SUS to be formed in filamentous shape and dried. The superconductive ceramics fibers manufactured in this way are filled in a tube made of Cu and vibrated such that the longitudinal direction of the fibers is aligned with that of the tube to obtain a bulk density more than 50% and thereafter a die processing is carried out.
