<p>PURPOSE: To provide a food container which allows not only the heating of assorted foods by a microwave oven but direct fire cooking and disposition by incineration as well by forming ceramic films on the container made of a synthetic resin having high heat resistance. CONSTITUTION: Thermoplastic resins of an olefin system which have heat resistance of >=130 deg.C and a low calorific value and low soot rate at the time of incineration are used for the material of the container 1. The coating treatment for forming the ceramic films 2, 3 is executed by a sol-gel method. The metal alkoxide generally expressed by M(R)n is used as the coating material. The cooking method is executed by opening a cap and additionally pouring water, then placing the container on a gas cooker H and heating the container with a direct fire from below. At this time, the evaporation heat of the moisture in the container 1 and the heat by the direct heating from below are thermally equilibrated and, therefore, the failure of the container by a temp. rise is prevented. Since this container has no possibility of an electric shock, the direct putting of the container as it is into a microwave oven and the reheating thereof are possible as well. The empty container after use may be discarded as it is as combustible refuse without the possibility of pollution problems.</p> |
