PURPOSE:A shaped coal evolving little sooty smoke during combustion which is not easily deformed, prepd. by compressing a mixt. consisting of powdered non- caking sub-bituminous coal, weakly caking bituminous coal and aste woodflour. CONSTITUTION:Air-dried non-caking sub-bituminuous coal and weakly caking bituminous coal are adjusted to a particle size of 3mm. or less, and moisture content and particle size of waste woodflour are adequately adjusted. The powdered coal and waste woodflour are mixed in a wt. ratio of 9:1-5:5 and the mixt. is molded into an arbitrary size and shape by heating at 100-200 deg.C under a pressure of 100- 300kg/cm<2>. The shaped coal obtd. evolves little sooty smoke during combustion, is not easily deformed and keeps a good state of combustion. |
