发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MULTI-PHASE MULTI-ELECTRODE ARC THERMAL SPRAYING
摘要 PURPOSE:To easily form a composite thermally sprayed film of metals and nonmetals by using a multi-phase AC power supply as a power supply for an arc thermal spraying method, interposing the nonmetallic thermal spraying materials between many electrodes, melting the electrodes and nonmetallic materials by arcs and injecting the melts by a high-pressure gas onto a substrate. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of metallic wires 12 for thermal spraying are passed through contact tubes 16 and are delivered by feed rolls 14 in such a manner that the front ends thereof are intersected and butted with and against each other by means of a metallic wire guide nozzle 19. Voltages which are successively varied in phases are impressed by the multi-phase AC power supply to the plural metallic wires 12 for thermal spraying and the arcs are generated between the tips of the metallic wires to melt the metallic wires 12. The melts are thermally sprayed in the form of fine metal particle groups 25 by the high pressure gas such as Ar ejected from the tips of compressed gas pipes 18 onto the substrate 26. Bar-shaped materials consisting of nonmetallic materials such as ceramics are simultaneously melted if these materials are disposed between the plural metallic wire electrodes 12. The thermally sprayed film consisting of the mixed structure composed of the ceramics and the metals is then formed.
