PURPOSE:To improve both compression performance and wear resistance by letting a cylinder block, a vane, a rotor and slide plates be made of aluminum alloys, and forming the plating layer mainly consisting of iron or nickle on the slide contacting surfaces thereof. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder block 1, a vane 8 and a rotor 4 are made of aluminum alloys wherein the difference of thermal expansion coefficient among respective alloys is less than 3X10<-6>/ deg.C, and the main body of side plates 2a and 2b is made of in aluminum alloy so as to form a plating layer mainly consisting of iron or nickel on each slide contacting surface thereof. This constitution eliminates a need to enlarge the clearance between the vane 8 and the slide plates 2a and 2b, and the clearance between the vane 8 and the groove width of the rotor 4 as well, thereby improving compression performance. And the plating layer enables seizure and wear of the slide contacting surfaces to be eliminated. |
