Multi-hull sailing boat in which the hulls 1 and 2 are connected by two parallel arms 3 and 4 at articulation points about which they can pivot; the boom 6 of the sail 7 is fixed securely and orthogonally to the mast 5 and to the front arm 4 which connects the hulls; the rotation of this boom, whilst positioning the sail to the wind, also changes the geometry of the boat by translating forwards that hull towards which the boom is moving, and by moving the other hull backwards; reinforcing rods placed between the boom, the front arm and the mast as well as the use of a mechanical system such as a threaded rod driving a bolt for the displacement of the boom along the back arm possibly allow any guys and ropes to be eliminated. Application: water sports and leisure pursuits, regattas, etc. <IMAGE>
