PURPOSE:To enable degreasing to a thin film thickness range by coating a lubricating agent on a magnetic disk medium, then subjecting the surface to cleaning by a soln. consisting of C6F14, C8F16O. CONSTITUTION:The lubricating agent consisting of perfluoropolyether is coated on the uppermost surface of the magnetic disk medium and after the coating dries, the surface is cleaned by using at least one among the fluorocarbons consisting of perfluorohexane (C6F14) and trifluorobutane-fluorooxorane ([C8F16]O). Namely, the cleaning is executed in the vapor and liquid of the soln. consisting of the perfluorohexane C6F14 and trifluorobutane-fluorooxorane C8F16O, by which the result below the thickness of the lubricating film after cleaning with trichlorotrifluoroethane is obtd. The lubricating film thickness is thereby reduced to the thickness below the specified value. |
