MANUFACTURE OF HALF TONE IMAGE

摘要

PURPOSE: To form halftone patterns which can act as a color proof print on a supporting body having optical point increasing control by forming the halftone patterns on the paper base supporting body coated with a polyolefin layer and imparting titanium oxide at a specific coating rate. CONSTITUTION: The halftone patterns are formed on the supporting base coated with the polyolefin layer having the coating rate in a range of 5 to 40G/m<2> by the binder layer to carry the halftone patterns thereon. The binder layer is imparted from the aq. soln. contg. white titanium dioxide particles having an average grain size in a range of 200 to 450nm and hydrophilic colloidal binder. The particles exist at least at 300wt.% of the total binder. The titanium dioxide is imparted at least at the coating rate of 0.5G/m<2> . As a result, the halftone multicolor colloidal patterns which can act as the color proof print are formed on the paper base supporting body.
