PURPOSE:To suppress the rising of an electric potential in a highlight and to form the image of good quality to which an area where fogging does not occur is specified in a deletion area by performing a control for adding transfer electrification according to the specification of the area. CONSTITUTION:When the area of the original image is specified by an area specifying input device 10, a CPU 11 controls the on/off of an exposing light source 9 for deleting charges, the on/off of a transfer unit 6 through a high voltage unit and the on/off of a bias voltage to a developing device 5. With the control for adding the transfer electrification, the deletion of the charges from an image non-formed area, the impressing the non-image bias by the developing device and the non-transfer control by the transfer unit can be favorably performed without influencing the image formation onto the image area, so that the boosting of the electric potential in the highlight can be suppressed and the image of good quality to which the area where the fogging does not occur is specified can be formed in the deletion area. |
