The linear shaft (4) of the generator moves backwards and forwards while being supported by brackets (7,8) which carry linear bearings (9,10). Mounted in the middle of the shaft is an electro-magnet (3) positioned between two similar but fixed electro-magnets (1,2). At one end of the shaft is a crank rod (5) which converts the motion into rotary motion via a crankshaft (6). The polarity of the outer fixed electro-magnets is reversed by a mutator, while that of the moving electro-magnet (3) is constant. The power supplied by a generator driven by the crankshaft should be greater than that supplied to the electro-magnets because of the latent energy of the electro-magnets.
|
