Control device for exhaust gas recirculation into the intake line of an internal combustion engine

It is intended that control devices of the said type be controllable by an electronic control module, little electric power being necessary. In the new control device, this is achieved in that the pressure of the vacuum source or the intake line is kept at a constant value by a pressure control valve, in that the constant pressure is fed to an inlet connection of a solenoid valve and is there admitted into a mixing chamber as a function of the current of a coil generating a magnetic flux, which mixing chamber is connected by way of a throttle to the atmosphere and by way of a connecting port to the diaphragm chamber of the exhaust valve. This results in an advantageous application for internal combustion engines used in vehicles.
