<p>PURPOSE:To reduce user's load by displaying respective candidates of a converted KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character) mixed character string in the order of probability corresponding to inputted voice components. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 15 determines a value relating to probability corresponding to voices inputting all KANA/KANJI mixed character strings stored in a KANA/KANJI mixed character string buffer 23e. The value is evaluated by similarity with a calculated voice and a score indicating the meaning validity of a determined sentence. The CPU 15 reads out respective scores stored in a score buffer 23f and adds respective similarity values stored in a similarity buffer 23d to the read scores. The added values are related to the probability corresponding to the inputted voice so as to be reversely proportional to the probability corresponding to the voice. The CPU 15 arranges the KANA/KANJI mixed character strings in the ascending order. Thus, KANA/KANJI mixed character strings are displayed in the order on the display 21.</p> |
