A kinetic transformer (11), in particular for piezoelectric-controlled laser precision controllers, is to be designed in such a way that it can be set up as far as possible with the use of standardised parts for machine building which can be obtained inexpensively, and can be used in both transformation directions. It is also to permit control or scanning (sensing) movements, which are to be capable of being carried out reproducibly, to be adaptively or reversibly transformed in multiple stages as far as into the micrometre range and nanometre range without a high additional design outlay, depending on the application envisaged. For this purpose, a rolling-element cage (13), which is arranged in a slip free fashion between a support element (12) and a moving element (14), or the moving element (14) which is supported by the rolling elements (15) of the cage, is constructed as drive element (21) or as driven (output) element (24). Transmission of motion is provided depending on whether the input variable acts directly on the rolling-element cage (13) or, rather, indirectly thereon, specifically via its rolling elements (15) by means of the moving element (14). A multistage transformation of movement results when the moving element (14) supported by the rolling elements (15) is, for its part, again constructed as a cage (13) for rolling elements which are held on the same support element (12) and then for their part again support a moving element (14). <IMAGE> |
