The linear spindle drive comprises a threaded spindle (1) passing through a driven structure. There are eccentric rings (36,37,38), one side of the ID of each is in engagement with the spindle (1). - The rings incorporate roller bearings, the outer rings of which transmit linear drive to the outer structure. The rings are urged against the spindle by springs such that the forces and moments acting on the spindle are balanced.
