NEW MATERIAL:1-Alkylcarbamoyl-4-methylpiperazine derivative of the formula (R is 8-18C straight-chain alkyl). EXAMPLE:1-Octylcarbamoyl-4-methylpiperazine. USE:It has cariostatic, nematocidal and antibacterial actions and is used as a cariostatic, insecticide, or antibacterial. For example, it manifests in vitro the nematocidal effect against the secondary stage larvae of dog ascarids which is a main causative parasite of nematode transmigration. PREPARATION:For example, N-methylpiperazine is chlorocarbonylated with phosgen or trichloromethyl chloroformate to give 1-chlorocarbonyl-4- methylpiperazine, then the product is allowed to react with a corresponding alkylamine to form the compound of the formula. |
