Door-closing damper which, fastened in the door frame, prevents a door from closing loudly. When the door is being closed, air is compressed in a cylindrical body by a piston and, after a part distance, is decompressed by means of a pin sliding through the piston and designed with a different diameter. There is no need for a right-hand and left-hand version if there is a tappet guided with play, thereby also making it unnecessary to have a curved shape of the cylinder matched to the radius of the door movement.
