In a pump with a pressure chamber (12) divided into two part chambers (14, 15) by a diaphragm (13), the diaphragm (13) is clamped into a circumferential recess (22) in the casing by means of a sealing bead (17). The sealing bead (17) has a smaller cross-section than the casing recess (22), and is centred in it by radial centring ribs (20). Circumferential sealing lips (18, 19) of the sealing bead (17), which fay onto the casing recess (22), seal the sealing bead (17) within the casing recess (22). <IMAGE>
