Drive belt

摘要

The intention is to increase the life and reduce the operating noise of drive belts for belt drives. For this purpose, the drive belt is constructed from a backing belt from which there project parallel splines aligned in the longitudinal direction of the belt. At their outer, top end, the individual splines are provided with transverse recesses. The forces to be accepted and transmitted by the belt are transmitted exclusively via the longitudinal flanks of the splines provided with the recesses. The transverse recesses are offset relative to one another in the longitudinal direction of the belt on the parallel splines.
