Novel 2-imino-1,3-dithietanes of the general formula I <IMAGE> in which A denotes CFHal, C(CH3)C1-4-alkyl, C(CH3)CHal3, C(CH3)CF2Cl, C(CH3)CFCl2, C2H4, C2H3Hal, C2H2Hal2, C2 HHal3, C2F2Cl2, C2F4 or C2F3Cl, where Hal stands for F or Cl, X denotes oxygen or sulphur, Z denotes hydrogen, halogen, C1-6-alkyl, C1-6-alkoxy, C1-6-alkylthio, di-C1-6-alkylamino, halo-C1-6-alkyl, halo-C1-6-alkoxy, halo-C1-6-alkylthio, C1-6-alkoxycarbonyl, halo-C1-6-alkoxycarbonyl, nitro, cyano, amino, phenoxy, halophenoxy, phenylthio or halophenylthio, and n denotes 0, 1 or 2, and their acid addition salts, a process for their preparation and their use as pesticides are described. The novel compounds are particularly suitable as nematicides.
