The cultivation receptacle exhibits a receptacle casing which is made up of a plurality of heat-insulating casings (10) stacked one above the other and the central inner space (12) of which is open towards the top and forms an air and growth space. The casings (10) closed on three sides contain an annular space (18) which is open towards the air and growth space (12) via a radial annular opening (16) and is filled with a planting substratum (20) which preferably consists of straw. The elements (10) of the receptacle casing may comprise old tyres of motor vehicles.
