<p>PURPOSE: To provide a multilayer film structure of low oxygen permeability and preferably low water permeability by comprising a barrier layer containing nylon which can be drawn in combination with a polymer material having a melting point lower than a glass transition point of nylon. CONSTITUTION: A barrier layer contains amorphous nylon (polyamide) resin having a glass transition point higher than the melting points of both resins used in a first layer at one side and a second layer at the other side. The total barrier layer can be optionally made of the amorphous nylon resin, and a small amount of the other materials such as ethylene vinyl acetate or the like can be blended so far as the oxygen barrier property is not excluded and the generated blend is properly adhered to an adjacent layer. When the barrier layer of a multilayer film structure contains this specific amorphous nylon, and polyethylene contained in one or both of the first and second layers have melting points of at least about 115 deg.C, the inline drawing can be performed by a conventional method after the arbitrary simultaneous extrusion process.</p> |
