The invention relates to a shearer drum and a method of manufacturing the same, a distribution passage (19) being arranged in a well protected manner on the inner circumferential surface (4) of the support tube (1) in such a way that it runs in accordance with the allocated helix (2), that is helically, in the interior of the support tube. Branching off from this distribution passage (19) are passages (18, 17, 16, 15) which are connected to the allocated spray nozzles in such a way as to convey liquid. In an advantageous procedure, the distribution passage (19) is made as a milled groove in the still flat sheet-metal plate, which is subsequently formed into the support tube (1), and is then provided with a corrosion-resistant metal coating in a sintering process. <IMAGE>
