<p>An electric motor has a housing casing which is rolled from a metal sheet and is part of a housing in which an armature with a commutator is mounted such that it can rotate, and has a plastic brush supporting plate, which is fastened in the housing at right angles to the axis of the housing casing and on which, for example, a thermostatic switch is also arranged. In order to be able to accommodate this thermostatic switch within the housing, a cut out which is open towards one end of the housing casing is provided in the said housing casing in order to enlarge the space available for the thermostatic switch.</p> |
