The compsn., for use in making dolls, is made from an intimate mixt. of titanium dioxide, iron oxide, aluminium oxide and calcium oxide in suitable proportions, which is heated to 700-1000 deg.C for 5-20 minutes, milled and washed with boiling HCl. It is mixed with a material such as PVC, PE, rubber, etc. to impart photochromic properties.
