<p>PURPOSE:To realize high speed printing and high density recording, by a method wherein a printing by thermal radiation is used by using a heating source with an infrared laser, and a thermal recording wherein contact with paper is not effected. CONSTITUTION:An infrared laser beam put together into one beam with a half mirror 5 passes a cylindrical lens 6, and is controlled with an acoustic optical element 9 to be intermittently introduced to a polygon mirror 8. Since the polygon mirror is rotated in the arrow (a) direction, the laser beam reflected with a reflection surface will scan from A to B on a thermosensible paper 15. A rotary roll moves the thermosensible paper by a specific distance when the laser beam has scanned from A to B and will receive the following scan radiation of the laser beam. Thus, printing is performed on the thermosensible paper with the infrared laser.</p> |
