<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a light FRP-made wheel of high strength and high elasticity in a car wheel, whose rim and spoke parts are integrated, by adhesive-joining via a connecting ring two FRP wheel parts, which are divided in the axle direction, into an integrated part. CONSTITUTION:FRP divided wheel parts 1 and 1 are formed by using long fiber sheets or textile sheets consisting of such as carbon fibers. On the other hand, an FRP-made connecting ring 2 is formed by winding textile sheets or long fiber sheets at the angle of 45 deg. to 10 deg. with respect to the axle direction. Next, the divided wheel parts 1 and 1 are abutted back to back via the connecting ring 2 inserted in mating surfaces between 1 and 1, for adhesion. With this constitution, long fibers can be used. As a result, a wheel of light weight, high strength, and high elasticity can be obtained.</p> |
