PURPOSE:To prevent the change of the min. optical density of the titled material and the deterioration of the max. optical density of said material at the time of a running processing by developing a prescribed photosensitive material with a color developer contg. a specified preservatives. CONSTITUTION:The titled material comprises a core-shell type inner latent image silver halide emulsion including a shell contg. at least silver chloride therein. Said titled material is developed with the color developer contg. the preservatives shown by formula I wherein R1 and R2 are each hydrogen atom or a (substd.) 1-5 C alkyl group. Said preservatives is exemplified by a compd. shown by formula II, etc. Said developer is exemplified by an aromatic primary amine color developing main agent, and the preservatives shown by formula I may be used together with a sulfite or a compd. capable of releasing a sulfurous acid ion. And, if necessary, the developer may contain an oxidation inhibitor and a metal ion sealing agent, etc. |
