A fastener comprises two rows of fastener elements mounted on a stringer tape, a slider with upper and lower wings joined at one end by a diamond, and a top stop with a generally C-shaped inner sealing body to surround the diamond when the fastener is fully closed, and an integral C-shaped outer body around the outer periphery of the inner. - The outer body watertightly covers the flared mouth of the Y-shaped guide channel in the slider, and the body ends may have projections for more positively locating the slider in the closed position. The bodies are pref. of soft PVC or rubber, and may be formed integrally on the tape or mounted independently. |
