<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect the presence or absence of an electronic part on the surface of a printed board and also the precision of the position of the electronic part, by irradiating a slit beam to the surface of the printed board for scanning by a camera. CONSTITUTION:While a board 1 mounted with various kinds of electronic parts 7 is being moved is a direction shown by an arrow, a slit beam 2 is projected against the surface of the board 1. Since a position 6 on the surface of the board 1 where the slit beam 2 is projected is out of the focus of a camera 3, the reflected light beam of the slit beam 2 is not scanned. On the contrary, at a position where the slit beam 2 is projected onto the electronic parts 7 mounted in the board 1, the focus of the camera 3 is met on the surface of the parts 7, and the reflected light beam of the slit beam 2 is scanned. Accordingly, the presence or absence of the scanning of the reflected light of the slit beam 2 by the camera is taken out as an electric signal through a CCD sensor for suitable electric processing. For example, the presence or absence may be indicated by a CRT display. Therefore, the presence or absence of the electronic parts on the board, and also the precision of the position thereof can be precisely detected.</p> |
