<p>The device comprises a differential (D) and a friction-coupling device (31) arranged between an input member (10, 11) and an output shaft (17), for limiting the slip or, in other words, the difference in speed between the two output shafts (16, 17). The coupling (D) is arranged outside an internal differential casing (15) and ramps (28) are provided between the input member (10, 11) and the internal casing (15) for controlling the axial position of this casing as a function of the engine torque and for acting on the coupling device limiting the slip. However, in a braking situation, the differential operates freely, with the result that there is no risk of the operation of a device preventing the wheels from locking being disturbed. <IMAGE></p> |
