PURPOSE:To correct, the relation of upper/lower position of a line even at the reproduction with varying speed, by selecting a running speed of tape, rotation radius of head, angle interval and step difference, in a helical scanning type recorder. CONSTITUTION:The running speed of a tape 2, the rotation radius of heads 1A- 1D, the angle interval theta and the step difference (h) are selected to form the format of the track of the tape 2. When the running direction of the tape 2 is equal to that of the heads 1A-1D and inverse, the H arrangement is performed with shift of (2n+0.75)H and [(2n-1)+0.25]H respectively from tracks 3A-3D of an odd and even number fields. The H arrangement is performed so that the line numbers (L+2n+1) and [L-(2n-1)] of the tracks 3B and 3D are positioned respectively adjacent to the line number L of the tracks 3A, 3C. Thus, the relation of upper/lower position of the line is corrected even at a varying speed reproduction in this way. |
