PURPOSE:To obtain a desired speed response even if a current detected value includes ripples by automatically setting a control gain in response to the mean value of a load torque and the change rate of a speed reference. CONSTITUTION:A speed controller 6 outputs a current reference signal in response to a deviation between the rotating speed of a DC motor 1 and a speed reference. A current controller 4 controls a thyristor converter 4 in response to a deviation between a motor current signal and a current reference signal. On the other hand, a load calculator 7A calculates a load torque T on the basis of a rotating speed NM and a motor current signal IM. A gain setter 7 sets the gains of the controller 6, 4 in response to the mean value of a load torque T and the change rate signal alpha of a speed reference signal from the change rate calculator 7D. |
