Process for prepn. of human T-cell growth factor comprises (a) implanting human-derived cells capable of producing hTCGF into warm blood animals except human or into a device which can supply nutritive body fluids of warm blood animals except human and proliferating the cells, and (b) gathering the proliferated cells and releasing hTCGF from the proliferated cells using a hTCGF inducer. The human cell can be selected from peripheral blood cell, spleen cell, amygdalade cell, amygdala tumor cell, liver cancer cell, lung cancer cell, and hybridized lymphoblastiod cell. The inducer contains mitogen, phytohaemagglutinin, concanavalin A, virus, nucleic acid and polynucleotide.
