PURPOSE: To obviate the occurrence of clouding in a soln. of a cephalosporin deriv. by using a plastic film having polar molecular groups as a primary package for solid β-lactam antibiotics. CONSTITUTION: The film consisting of the plastic having the polar molecular groups is used as the primary package for the solid β-lactam antibiotics. The particularly adequate plastic having the polar molecular groups is a cellophane film, cellulose acetate, polyamide, polyester and polyurethane. The cellulose film, the polyamide and the polyester are preferably used. The plastic bag consisting of this film is sterilizable in an autoclave. Since the film has heat resistance, gas sterilization using, for example, formadehyde or ethylene oxide is possible except the case the avoiding of the gas sterilization is possible. Preparations turn to a regulated clean soln. even under stresses of different types when using the film consisting of such plastic. |
