PURPOSE: To decrease the coefft. of friction of an elastic base material and cap to <=1.0 and to prevent the leaching of metal ions from this base material by using the elastic base material and the cap having a continuous polyparaxylene covering and having elasticity. CONSTITUTION: This product consists of a container contg. pharmaceutically pure components and the cap having the elasticity for hermetically sealing this container. The elastic cap having the elasticity has the elastic base material and the continuous polyparaxylene covering having about 0.5 to about 2.0μm thickness and covering the base. The covering contributes to a reduction of the coefft. of friction of the cap to <1.0, more preferably <0.5. The covering is further capable of substantially preventing the leaching of the metal ions from the elastomer. Particularly the covering has a function for preventing the leaching of the metal ions in such a manner that the leaching of the metal ions in 1mol hydrochloric acid decreases 50 to 1000 times in an autoclave for one hour. The pharmaceutical products contg. medical and veterinary pharmaceuticals, distilled water, solvents contg. medicines, syrup, serum and other similar materials are not affected even when these products are packaged by the cap having the elasticity. |
