<p>PURPOSE:To ensure safety by attaching a nozzle for introducing purge gas and a nozzle for the delivery of atmosphere within a cap to the cap which houses a means for opening and closing a valve in a gas cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A fitting part 2 to be screwed or faced on the neck part 12 of a gas cylinder 11 is provided on the bottom part of a cap 1. A shut-off means 3, being placed inside through outside of the cap, to open and close the valve 13 of the cylinder 11 is housed in the cap 1, and a nozzle 5 for introducing purge gas and a nozzle 6 for the delivery of atmosphere within the cap 1 are attached to the proper places of the cap 1. A possible gas leakage is determined by measuring the atmosphere within the cap 1 delivered from the atmosphere delivery nozzle 6 by use of a detector 8 provided in a line 7.</p> |
