PURPOSE:To conduct the monitoring and the control of a water level easily and certainly by connecting the top parts of a piping shaft from a rock-bed underground storage tank and a water sealed tunnel shaft, to a water sealing pool on the ground. CONSTITUTION:A water sealing pool 10 is opened on the ground level above a rock-bed underground storage tank 1, to the bottom of which a piping shaft 5 from the rock-bed underground storage tank 1 and a water sealing tunnel shaft 4 are connected, with the top ends thereof being opened thereto. Sealing water, when it is poured into the water sealing pool 10, falls through the piping shaft 5 to a concrete plug 6. Also the sealing water enters into the water sealing tunnel shaft 4 from the bottom of the water sealing pool 10 to reach a water sealing tunnel 2. The possible occurrence of an air bubble in the water sealing pool 10 is monitored on the ground and thereby the leakage of storage liquid, vapor or gas in the rock-bed underground storage tank 1 and the piping shaft part 5 can be detected. |
