PURPOSE:To conform a sliding top cover both in color and three-dimensionally so as to obtain a favorable appearance inside a vehicle room even within the range of a roof by providing the guide of the sliding top cover on a roof top cover. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle roof 1 having a roof top cover 5 which covers the vehicle roof 1 from the inside and a sliding top cover 14 which covers a cover 4 form the lower part, the guide 13 of the sliding top cover 14 is pro vided on the roof top cover 5. Due to such a structure, it is not necessary to provide a receiver or a sliding face for the sliding top cover 14 on the frame of the vehicle roof 1, enabling the guide device of the cover 4 to be finely and compactly designed. Thereby, it is possible not only to simplify the structure and assembly of the vehicle roof 1 but to directly assemble the sliding top cover 14 into the roof top cover 5 with a suitable appearance. The sliding top cover 14 can be conformed both in color and three-dimensionally so as to obtain the favorable appearance inside a vehicle room even within the range of the vehicle roof 1.
