<p>Apparatus for loading and/or unloading yarn bobbins on a material carrier, comprising a conveyor belt (21), on which move the bobbins coming from or going to a storage compartment or a processing machine, with means for transferring the bobbins from said belt to the material carrier (PM), and vice-versa. The transfer means are organised to handle simultaneously, as a single unit, a multiplicity of bobbins forming a "layer" of bobbins on the conveyor belt (21) and likewise a "layer" of bobbins on the material carrier (PM).
