PURPOSE:To obtain a molded product provided with surface cloth, which is in a vivid form adapting to a molding tool, by a method wherein a material sheet is formed by sticking the cloth of a desired form approximating to the product to one side of a sheet having airtight properties and upon heating and softening of a cloth body the material sheet is molded with a molding die. CONSTITUTION:A material sheet 30 is comprised of by laminating cloth 32 comprised of through cutting into size, where it is apploximated to a form of a product which is to be molded and it is made a little larger than the form by cutting allowance, on the surface of an airtight sheet 31 comprised of synthetic resin. An outline or a break 34 of the cloth 32 of the material sheet is set up by positioning on a vacuum molding die 20 and molded. Also the cloth 32 can be deformed by corresponding to a mold surface by adaptation in close adhesion to the mold surface of the airtight sheet 31 by making use of the material sheet 30. Therefore, even under molding time with the molding tool having an extreme undercut part, a vividly-formed molded product provided with surface cloth can be obtained. |
