<p>System permitting stereoscopic restoration of a scene observed by a single camera. The video signal (SV) delivered by the camera (1) is sent to two television screens (5, 6). Each of them is viewed by just one of the observer's eyes (OG, OD). A first picture, the one currently being detected, is presented immediately. The other picture is delayed in circuits (10) before being presented. The delay applied corresponds to the camera shot taken at an earlier instant (T1). It can be adjusted as a function of the picture shooting conditions and of the stereoscopic effect sought. The invention applies in particular in avionics, for example to aid night navigation and aerial reconnaissance. <IMAGE></p> |
