PURPOSE:To obtain a rotation signal without using a rotary transformer nor a slip ring by obtaining a current variation type output from exciting winding 2 through the rotation of a rotor. CONSTITUTION:The exciting winding 2 is a stator, a Cos output winding 7 is provided in in-phase relation with the winding 2, and an AC voltage E1 is applied from a power source 3. Then a Sin output winding 8 is provided on the side of the stator 1 where it is 90 deg. out of phase with the Cos output winding 7 and the rotor 4 composed of short-circuit winding 4a is provided opposite the stator 1 rotatably by a shaft. The short-circuit winding 4a generates phiS in a direction where it cancels main magnetic flux phiP and when phiP-phiS=phitheta, voltages developed across the winding 7 and winding 8 are e0=-Ndphitheta/dt and appear as a function of the angle theta of rotation of the rotor 4. For the purpose, the rotor 4 is only provided with the short-circuit winding 4a to obtain a voltage variation type rotation detection signal which varies in relation with the angle thetaof rotation. |
