<p>PURPOSE:To excellently maintain the linearity of a tape pattern by providing a speed control means for a capstan motor to a servo system for the capstan motor for traveling a tape so as to control a constant traveling speed of the tape at the time of intermittent recording to be lower than a constant traveling speed at the time of normal recording. CONSTITUTION:The speed control means (an operating amplifier and a transistor) 8 and 9 for the capstan motor 1 are provided to the servo system for the capstan motor 1 for traveling the tape to control the constant traveling speed of the tape at the time of intermittent recording to be lower than the constant traveling speed at the time of normal recording. Then, in case of traveling at a constant speed by accelerating the tape at the time of intermittent recording, the speed control means 8 and 9 control the constant traveling speed to be 1/3 of the constant traveling speed for the normal recording time, decreasing afterward the tape speed down to stop, thus repeating as a cycle and recording a video signal at the time of the constant speed traveling of the tape. By this method, the linearity of the tape pattern can excellently be maintained.</p> |
