PURPOSE:To enable a user himself to manage the deterioration of an optical disk due to secular change by providing a transparent window part on one surface or both surfaces of a cartridge that contains an optical disk. CONSTITUTION:The cartridge 101 holds and protects the optical disk 104. To the cartridge 101, a recording/reproducing hole 103 to record/reproduce/erase optically is provided. Normally, the hole 103 is covered by a shield plate 102. Also, the transparent window part 105 is provided to the cartridge 101, through which a user can observe the optical disk 104. As a result, the user can manage the deterioration of the optical disk 104 due to secular change. |
