METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OXYGEN DENSITY IN COMBUSTION EXHAUST GAS

A method for controlling oxygen density of combustion exhaust gas comprises monitoring the actual oxygen level and calculating the excess of air required to produce a predetermined level in the exhaust gas. A corrected air supply level is caculated from process parameters. The method allows an optimum air excess to be maintained giving a combination of energy economy and smoke antipollution.
