PURPOSE: To fix a pole to snow and to easily pull the pole out of a snow hole by forming a lock means, which can be expanded and pulled, at the lower end part of the pole. CONSTITUTION: The lock means is formed at the lower end part of a pole 1 having a longitudinal central axis 4 and a cylindrical outer surface. That lock means is provided with disk-shaped lock elements 5 and 8 having areas almost equal to the crossing area of cylindrical surface of the pole 1 and pivots 3 and 7 for these lock elements on the axis offset and parallel to the longitudinal central axis of the pole 1. Thus, the lock elements 5 and 8 are moved from non-operating positions almost inside the crossing area of the pole 1 to operating positions protruded from the cylindrical outer surface of the pole 1 to the outside of radial direction or are moved reversely around these offset axes 3 and 7 by swinging the pole 1 around these longitudinal central axes. As a result, the pole can be fixed in the snow and the pole can be easily pulled out of the snow hole. |
