PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of poor contact or damage to package or holder of battery by detecting polarity of the battery holder near the opening of insertion chamber by means of projection and groove provided between insertion side edge and the opening of insertion chamber. CONSTITUTION: Mounting of battery holder 6 on semiconductor device card is conducted by inserting the battery holder 6 into package 1. At this time, polarity of battery holder 6 can be detected near the opening of the insertion chamber 4 by whether or not projection 12 fits notched groove 11. Here, the battery holder 6 can be housed at the prescribed position in the insertion chamber 4 when the projection 12 fits the notched groove 11, namely top and bottom positions of the holder 6 are correct. When the battery holder 6 is turned upside down, it cannot be inserted into the insertion chamber 4. |
