PURPOSE:To realize the universe applicability among devices of different interface specifications by adding a programmable connection setting part which change optionally the connecting relation between a signal line and a connector with a direct touch to the middle part of each signal line containing a connector connected at its tip. CONSTITUTION:An initial state is secured for signal lines Ea-Ez and Ua-Uz, that is, these signal lines are set orthogonally to each other at a programmable connection setting part 6 with the non-conductive states secured with each other. The contact holes CH are formed at the intersecting parts Paz-Pza respectively. Then these holes CH corresponding to the points Paz-Pza are selectively filled with the conductive members like connection pins CP so that the conductive states are programmed between the lines Ea-Ez and Ua-Uz respectively. When the point Pxa, for example, which is shown by a mark is filled with a conductive member, the signal line Ua conducts to the signal line Ex and signal lines Ub and Uc are not connected to either one of signal lines Ea-Ez and not used. Thus the universal applicability of an interface cable is realized to the devices of different interface specifications. |
